Knollwit's music is full of heart, potent lyrics, and an ever twisting sense of humor. It ranges across rock, pop, ethereal, and experimental. A cloak-and-dagger solo work expanded into a live performance, Knollwit transforms the stage, endeavoring to uproot dreams and send them through the gateway into reality for all to experience.

History: Knollwit was the name given to the musical projects and soul of me back in 2000. My songs, one by one, find their musical voice, from those written long ago to those written more recently. Many songs also began as instrumentals on the piano, materializing from my dreams and played in the hopes that a musical peace could be discovered both within the player as well as the listener. After moving out of the family home, the piano no longer easily accessible, my mind wandered into areas, before only thought intangible, and was let to roll around new concepts and frustrations. As I found no outlet was good enough to record or express its many layers without money or an instrument (I always have my voice and a few small instruments I handmade), the ideas built up. An old guitar was salvaged from a lover's garage in desperation and the self-teaching began with a furiosity and passion that surprised even myself. Songs were flooding out rapidly, poems and music as one often times - Nothing like I had done before. And with that same drive, I learned how to build a home recording studio. Soon afterwards, the recordings began in Knollwit Studio. 2003 opened the option of performing live and so preparations began shortly after the first couple of mini performances to form a band. In early 2004 it finally came together after a very rough beginning - finding and losing bandmates, and finally, regaining bandmates who double as amazing friends. With great influences, friends, partners, and inspirations, Knollwit has morphed anew and readjusted the telescope with solo works and artist collaboration opportunities in view.
