Pooka's
Fury
The first solo album, released in July 2003, in time for LOJ6,
Pooka's Fury is a collection of deep thoughts and dreams put to music
written and composed over a few years' span. It was recorded, finally, beginning
in 2001, when the little music studio was just newly built. "(How the Song)Should've
Gone" was the first completed song to come from the studio. The layers
within the various music on this album were all added as each song was created,
as they were originally heard in my head. I'm still striving to find the middle
ground between this album and the second one...with a bigger punch and a more
mature sound. This album though, means a lot to me, as do the people who have
given me feedback on it and I often return to it. The vibe of this album is
very much about the fury felt of things sadly lost or in limbo, and things passionately
desired.
