News

11.19.07: Opportunities taken. Studio being rebuilt. LARP album upcoming. New collab song posted and more will be posted up as soon as I can record them. The site will have a new look soon as well.
7.11.05: NEW ALBUM IS HERE! Labyrinth Ball was amazing! Knollwit performed along with others, romping through minor difficulties such as the bassist breaking a string moments before the curtain went up and the fact that certain mics and monitors weren't sounding off, making it impossible to hear ourselves. Otherwise, we rocked our hearts out and had an awesome time! It was great meeting new people and seeing friends there, and I finally got to hang out a bit with everyone afterwards. Rob's Bio is on the way...he was on vacation for a bit so it's just a bit delayed. New band Bio photos are up as well as more on the way from both photo shoots as well as Labyrinth. I'm looking into making a music video for us very soon.
6.08.05: New bandmates arrive via the awesome bus! Sean Fanning, a most brilliantly talented, good-humored, and energetic keyboardist, and Jessica Lehman, my dear friend/fellow online roleplayer/and England traveling companion. It's quite a group of awesome people!
3.13.05: New song "Residual Time" up!
1.5.05: Got an awesome permanent guitarist finally, Ken. Fun guy to work with, great friend, and a great musician, he takes my music to the place I want it to go. Going over new music for the upcoming album...much more 'let go and roll with it'...in my definition anyway. :) For more info, check out the MaiList.
11.17.04: Doug returned for now, as our cool guy keyboardist. Looking for a new guitarist.
10.29.04: Keyboardist needed! My keyboardist has moved north and I am without one now. Please contact me if interested. Must be familiar with a variety of musical styles such as Bjork, Heart, Seal...Currently we're gettin' gig ready again with a huge chunk of new songs and we're looking at December to be the return to the change with a slightly new sound and vibe...Website facelift in progress & New videos going up soon of the LOJ live performance and a music video in the works...New guitarist, Geordie Mclellan temporarily joined the band last month...New Album "Poh.M" is now for sale!
7.17.04: Knollwit -live band- performed at LOJ 7! New album "POH M" Now On Sale!
06.20.04: Band practices have been hectic, but the new team is awesome and we're having alot of fun together. I owe alot to Rob, my drummer, who had my back since the beginning and likewise. When I lost my first guitarist and bassist pair (still miss them as they are really cool guys) shortly after I joined with Rob (thanks to Shawn who helped me find Rob in the first place), I was in a panic, cause LOJ was so close. Within the last couple months though, and with a new drumset I bought for us using my tax refund, we've gotten better and much faster than we did before. After I brought in Doug, the keyboardist, gentle silly guy who's also a pleasure to play with, the mood only improved from there. Then Rob brought in Shannon, the amazing bassist and my energy buddy, and Bob, the experienced and also fun guitarist (who turned out I had already know from ren faire years ago). A very solid team now, and enjoying eachother's company immensely, we're aiming to put on a great performance for everyone this year at the various events we hit up. I hope you all enjoy the show!
05.14.04: New Knollwit live band performing at LOJ 7 with four new songs and a new album..."POH M" ~ Knollwit is a Finalist in the Song of the Year Contest!
04.05.04: I recently formed a band for live performances and recording. I will still be working on my own solo studio projects, however, my new "Hak Hak Drakhen!" album's songs will all be recorded with the new band -which includes me (guitar, vocals, and whatever else), Mitch (guitar), Ivan (bass), Rob (drums), and David (keys). Our first big live band performance will be at the upcoming LOJ 7 on the main stage. Last year I performed a few songs on the second stage as a solo act. The whole show this time has brand new songs and one or two familiars from my first solo album "Pooka's Fury". We will most likely do a few live performances elsewhere before the big show in July, as preppers, so keep your eyes open for updates on those in my Events Calendar. In addition, other good news is that Knollwit placed in the Top 5 Finalists in the Song of the Year Contest's electronica catagory. This is my first musical win ever and, more importantly, my biggest recognition so far. As small as it may seem to anyone else, I was just happy someone liked one of my songs...and it was a song of mine that I hadn't gotten much shout out on before (my first official recorded song too). So, as a Finalist prize, my song gets shot around to a variety of BMG label people. Dunno if anything will come of it. Don't matter to me cause I'm just doing what I love. But if something does, well, I welcome it.
New songs up on the site include: "Leaving it up to you" (for Pooka's Fury album), "Kender Trailsong" (for UKU website), & "Norma's Song" (added 4/11/04).

02.09.04: New song "Leaving it up to you" in progress for new album.
01.21.04: New site design & photo shoot up. Music video & new album in the works.
01.01.04: Redesigning Music & Store pages for Feb.
10.10.03: 2 New lyrics added and "Something Left Undone" currently being recorded. "Knollwit Speaks" new area up! Also fixed the Knollwit Store so there is are proper cancelation and success htmls to close the ordering process. In addition, I've switched the main page layout to be more visible and organized. Hope it helps. *wink*
10.1.03: Updating this site to straight html instead of Flash due to the fact that I don't want to have such a long load time for this site version...which isn't even completed yet. I have the new version ready to go up, but it'll be awhile as I am also trying to finish the new album version2. As you may have noticed, I upped the count to 3 more songs till the release as I realized they would do well on it, plus give you your money's worth -track-wise. Alright. Back to work. :) Oh yeah! KNOLLWIT STORE is UP!
9.18.03: New temp site loads faster. "Mars" completed! 3 more songs till v2 album release.
8.11.03: Listen to samples now added to MP3 area.
7.25.03: This Temp flash site is now up while I prep the goods for the completely new flash site which will look totally different. I'm working on two new songs for my new upcoming v2 album.
7.14.03: LOJ 6 has ended and my first live performance went well considering I was helping to run the event (working for the many months and till 4am each morning the last week up till the event day) and had no voice and very little else by the time midnight hit. But many thank you's to everyone who helped me get on stage despite all the hard work we put in to get everyone else on stage first. I enjoyed playing for the comfy group and was very happy to sell 7 cds which payed for my cost to make them. :) Yeah! I hope everyone had an awesome time at the event! Other News includes the new Flash site I'm working on for KNOLLWIT. It will look totally different -closer to what my fae dreams envisioned originally. And somewhat crazy and silly like my other websites but packed full of chunky goodness -heaps more info, photos, events, albums, music, collaborations, etc. I'm also rebuilding a better shopping cart. Meanwhile, please go through Elfheads and use Paypal to make your purchases with me. Thank you for visiting my site and I hope you'll come back often to see my updates and new music! ~
